Great Place To Live

Employees are very all helpful and respond in a timely manner. Apartments are well maintained and clean upon move in. Common areas are clean and inviting. I will definitely be recommending them to family and friends.

Nice apartments

This is overall a good apartment. All my work orders were done within a few days and I've never had a major problem with stuff breaking. The washing machines break a lot though, so sometimes it's difficult to do laundry.

Since we replaced all the washers and dryers recently, I hope that has solved the washing machine problem. We now have a great company that services them.

Northwood Village

This apartment complex compares favourably to other establishments. The apartments are clean, well-maintained and the staff are friendly and helpful. I particularly enjoy the spa in the winter months, and the pool in summer. Given the prime location (close to CatTracks and Raley's) as well as the decent prices, it is one of the better rentals in Merced.

5 Star Apts.

Its been great living in these apartments and I'm happy I didn't choose to live somewhere else. It's conveniently located right across the street from the college and next to Railey's. The maintenance here is awesome and quick. The staff in general is very friendly and really makes it feel like home.

Friendly village

My Reivew of Northwood Village

I've been a resident of Northwood Village now for a year and a half, and overall I have been pretty happy. I've always felt safe here, which is comforting being a single mom of 3. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful. Maintenance has excellent. I'm glad I chose Northwood Village as my home.

In the almost two years i've lived here i have not had a bad experience with management whatsoever. There are always friendly faces in the office and everyone is willing to help. The only issue ive had is with the car break ins, however Bridget quickly reassured me and other tenants, relieving any worries. I've lived in other apartment complexes before moving here and there is a much higher level of satisfaction from me, and i would recommend living here to anyone looking for a place. Thank you!

Living In Northwood Villages

A convenient, comfortable, safe & excellent location!

I've lived in The Northwood Village Apartment for only two years, and I can honestly say I regret not living here sooner! I don't have a car, but the bus stop is literally a 2 minute walk away (near In-Shape). Speaking of convenience location, Raley's, Supercuts, Verizon, Wells Fargo, Thai, Chinese and Mexican restaurants are literally right across the street. The best part is the manager of the apartments, Bridgett is very friendly, fair, optimistic and generous. I would definitely recommend this place!

Friendly neighborhood and wonderful staff!!

Wonderful staff and a friendly neighborhood to live in! When I first moved to Northwood Villages, the staff were on task and will help you answer any questions you may have! Apartment was clean, and they are very good at maintenance! If you have any problems with the apartment, the maintanence team will be there and help! They are friendly also! :) Another nice thing about living in this apartment complex is the activities the office plans from time to time such as barbecues! They are always fun to attend and the staff working at the event are friendly too! :) Safe and friendly neighborhood, and nice staff!

A Place to Call Home.

Beginning the third week of my stay at Northwood Village Apartments, I can say I feel like home. Conveniently located to multiple resources such as a grocery/supermarket store, a gym, a bank, Merced college, the hospital, and the mall, these apartments provide more to expect from a small city. The neighborhood is clean, green, safe, and quiet. The staff "dream team" does not fall short. Ever since day 1, both office and maintenance staff have proved to be courteous and helpful, and that has made of my transition to Northwood Village a smooth and pleasant one!

Wonderful Place to Live!!!

Moving to Merced was made easy with the at Northwood Village. The entire process was great, the office staff worked with me by providing documents via email and mail. When I arrived they were very friendly and helpful by providing information about Merced. The maintenance man was fantastic. After the walk through, they came over immediately to take care of any issues we found and they folled up the next days to make sure everything was still working to my satisfaction. The neighborhood is very quiet, I haven't even heard my neighbors since moving in! Over all, this has been a very pleasant living experience. I would definitely recommend making Northwood Village your home!!

Absolutely Amazing !!!

Smart choice

In moving back to Merced, we had a tough time finding a place in a safe neighborhood and big enough for our growing family. We found Northwood's information on Craigslist and immediately loved the location and the apartments. We were able to move in right away, which was what we needed. The staff was friendly and worked with us on with our application process. The apartment was very clean and had new carpet. We have only had to call maintenance twice in the time we've lived here and the calls are taken care of right away. The property is always clean, quiet, and we enjoy the love that the management gives back(hotdogs, giftwrapping, raffles). I am happy we made this choice for us.

Northwood Village is Home

I've lived at these apartments in a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath for about four years now. Brigett Hiser is an amazing apartment manager who cares to listen to her residents. All of the maintenance workers wave when you drive by them and are always smiling. They fix any problems you may have at your apartment within a few hours or the very next day. It is very handy to be so close to UC Merced and Merced College for students and is very close to a shopping center with Raley's a grocery store and another shopping center with a shipping store, restaurants, a bank, a salon, and Starbucks. If you get the chance to live here, take it!

Love Living Here

I love living here at the Northwood Village Apartments. The Staff is very courteous and efficient. I love the location and that they accept pets. Pretty good

I've only needed repairs a few times and each time it has been handled within a few days. The washers in the laundry room break a lot though, which is my only major complaint.

Overall Experience

My overall experience living at the Northwood VIllage has been very pleasant. I moved in as a UCM student and greatly benefited from the location. It's near campus and everything else I frequent often (Raley's). Aside from the traffic outside our window that can get pretty loud (we live facing G st), the staff is great, rent is affordable, and the community is friendly. Bridgett has also been of great assistance! Any issues that have ever come up, she has resolved with excellent customer service. The only thing we wish we had is a gas stove versus our current electric! :)

It feels like home!

Living at the Northwood Village Apartments has been great! Especially as a college student. First of the application process is fast and easy. Second thing is that the staff is really friendly and they host little events throughout the year that really makes this feel like a community. Some of these events include BBQs, free Christmas gift wrapping, and Toys for Tots. If there is ever a problem, with just a single call maintenance will be at your door and ready to help. My roomates and I are very happy to be here and would recommend to take the apartment tour. The pool and spa are also a huge bonus! p.s. They even send you personalized birthday and holiday cards.

My living experience

Living on my own for the first time in my life away from my parents has been great thanks to you, the staff. My living experience here at Northwood village apartments has been amazing. Any problems that we have came upon on here in the apartment you guys of always been on your game and ready to fix it. There has never been a time where I've needed you guys to come back out to fix the same problem.The maintenance man here are always super friendly and always have a smile on their face as well as the office workers. I love how you guys do little things to make the renters feel welcome, for example the gift wrapping for Christmas.

Current Resident

I'm a current resident at Northwood Village Apartments, and so far I have been impressed with this place for one thing after another. I have a two bedroom apt with two patios and its priced better than anywhere else in the immedate area. So I'm literally getting more space for my dollar. Carpeting and paint is fresh and new, grounds keeping and maintenance crews are equal to any 5 star resort and the managers run a tight ship. Some people preferr maybe a less strict management staff - but in my experience, the strict yet friendly approach is better for everyone here. I really like the pool area and my secluded patio areas most of all ... but can't beat the location either - close to Starbucks and Raileys
